The Ford Motor Company [NYSE:F] is preparing to answer many American automotive enthusiasts dreams by bringing the 345-horsepower Ford Focus RS to the U.S. market. Due later this year, the RS is expected to carry a hefty premium over the 252-horsepower Focus ST, which starts at $24,370. Today, we may have seen what that premium is, as for a brief moment the 2016 Ford Focus RS was listed at a reasonable $35,730 on Ford's website. While the information wasn't up long, it was long enough for the crew over at Focus RS Forums to snag screen shots.

That price is for the base five-door Focus RS, and likely doesn't include destination.
