For those that might not be familiar with Confederate Motors, the award winning exotic street motorcycle manufacturer has been making top-tier street bikes for the better part of 20 years. The company was founded in 1991 and in 1992 set up shop in San Francisco, California. A year later, Confederate Motors moved production to New Orleans, where it produced its first motorcycle. August 2005 saw the city ravaged by Hurricane Katrina, thus forcing Confederate to move to its current base of operations in Birmingham, Alabama.

Although the company went bankrupt in 2001, they recovered in 2003, which is a good thing indeed because had it not, we wouldn’t be drooling over its latest creation, the X132 Hellcat.

The X132 is the latest in a long line of Hellcats that have seen multiple iterations over the years. The level of craftsmanship, spirit, and dynamism poured into the X132 is astounding. The body of the X132 Hellcat features a billet aluminum case, carbon fiber wheels, and a long-travel, multi-speed adjustable suspension. The engine mounted on the X132 is a Copperhead fuel injected V-Twin outputting 150 ft lb of torque and cranking out 132 bhp.

Of course all that power and aesthetic doesn’t come cheap; the X132 is currently being offered at a special pre-distribution price of $45,000 and includes every optional feature such as LED lighting, Pirelli Diablo SP tire package, a dual seating kit, and more. After February 29th however, that price will increase to $49,500, so those seriously looking to ride on these beauties would do well to save $3,500 and act sooner rather than later.
