Vitesse-AuDessus Reveals New One-Piece Carbon Fiber Wheels

Earlier this month, we wrote about the stunning work Maryland firm Vitesse-AuDessus is doing rendering the bodies of supercars like Ferrari's LaFerrari in pure carbon fiber.

And now, customers who've chosen to give their cars the treatment can get a set of wheels to match.

While bespoke options are always available, the company has released OEM replacement versions for a wide variety of performance machinery, including the Ferrari 458, Lamborghini Aventador and Porsche 918 Spyder. According to CEO Stefany Sanchez, in addition to looking dead-sexy, the wheels can reduce unsprung weight by as much as 50%, which should make for an noticeable performance increase.

The average weight per wheel is a svelte 13 pounds.
