The 2024 Ford Mustang Will Let You Rev It Remotely From the Key Fob

The new 2024 Ford Mustang is here and it comes bearing great news for the worst person you know. Rather than having to get in and start the car in order to rev it, the Mustang's new "Remote Rev" feature will let you do it from a key fob.

All owners have to do is hold a button on the key fob and the engine will spring to life, rev loudly, and wake up the entire apartment complex. It's sure to be a fun party trick, one that when used wisely can be innocent entertainment. Yet it should probably come with some "Don't Be That Guy" warnings, as you can continue pressing the button to hear it happen over and over and over again. It'll rev the same way every time, although each engine has a different signature rev profile.
