Yahoo Autos Earnhardt joins TNT, Amazon NASCAR broadcast teams for 2025
TNT Sports and Amazon Prime Video have confirmed the addition of Dale Earnhardt Jr. to the broadcast team for the 2025 NASCAR season.
“We’re very thrilled to welcome Dale to the TNT Sports family as we partner closely in setting the cornerstone for our NASCAR coverage,” said Craig Barry, executive vice president and chief content officer of TNT Sports. “We could not have been more excited for the return of NASCAR to TNT Sports next summer, with Dale being a critical part of the overall vision and execution of our coverage.”
TNT Sports, part of the Warner Bros. Discovery entity, and Amazon announced a seven-year broadcast deal with NASCAR last fall. There will be five summer races for each partner (10 total) in their lineup.
The 15-time Most Popular Driver retired from NASCAR competition in 2017. During his Hall of Fame career, Earnhardt earned two Xfinity Series championships, two Daytona 500 victories, and 26 total victories in the Cup Series.
Upon his retirement, Earnhardt moved into the broadcast booth for NBC Sports. the company confirmed earlier this year that he would not return to the coverage team this season.
Earnhardt will be an on-air commentator for TNT Sports. He will also contribute to a new series, co-produced with Dirty Mo Media (Earnhardt’s company), on the Bleacher Report social and digital platforms.
“It is such an exciting time to welcome TNT Sports back to NASCAR,” Earnhardt said. “I remember watching the races on TNT back in the day, and it’s so nostalgic to see them return to the sport and to be a part of their team.
