Lamborghini on Thursday revealed the very last Aventador to roll off its assembly line. It's an LP 780-4 Ultimae Roadster that's been designed to mirror an equally special Miura Roadster.

The last Aventador is painted in a one-off color called Azzuro Flake, meant to replicate the shade found on the one-off Miura P400 Roadster show car first revealed at the Carrozzeria Bertone stand at Brussels Motor Show in April 1968. It also has a handful of special touches, like special leather interior trim, black-painted carbon fiber roof panels, matte-black tailpipes, and silver-painted wheels hiding black brake calipers. It's set to go to a private owner in Switzerland.

Weirdly, this isn't the first time Lamborghini has ended Aventador production. The company built the very last cars earlier this year before 15 examples were lost at sea due to the sinking of the cargo ship Felicity Ace in March. The company subsequently restarted production to fill those orders, and now, production is finally, officially over.

Lamborghini built a total of 11,465 Aventadors over its 11-year production run, more than doubling production of its predecessor, the Murcielago, and eclipsing total production of every other V-12-powered Lamborghini combined. Its yet-to-be-named successor will likely keep the 12-cylinder powerplant, but also include hybrid assistance, similar to the limited-production Sián FKP 37.
