Most of us won’t have the chance to sit behind the wheel of a Porsche Carrera GT, let alone an opportunity to push the car on the road. Thanks to YouTuber Robbert Alblas, we all have a chance to experience a taste of what that might be like by way of this sinfully good POV video.

The Porsche Carrera GT is one of the all time great supercars, with well-kept examples currently trading hands well above the seven-figure mark. That’s despite the fact that Porsche built a healthy 1270 units over the course of the car’s run. Not all of those examples have survived to this day, with some crashes in particular playing a role in the Carrera GT’s accursed reputation. The horror stories aren’t nearly enough to dissuade fans from the glory that is the car’s 5.7-liter V-10 engine, which produces 605 hp and 435 lb-ft of torque. All of that power is sent to the rear wheels alone by way of a six-speed manual gearbox, with not a trace of driver aids to help keep things benign. Not that you’d want to do anything but bury the throttle after getting a taste of that exhaust note. The driver in the clip certainly had no trouble winding the V-10 out for all its worth, capturing some great audio in the process.

This particular example is one of only 89 cars finished in Fayence Yellow, not to be confused with the 1-of-1 Signal Yellow GT. The car has spent its entire life in Germany under the watchful eye of its original owner. Should you happen to have a seven-figure sum burning a hole in your pocket, this car is being offered for sale by the team at Schaltkulisse. The dealer is no stranger to valuable Porsches, with current listings including a 996 GT3 RS,a 904 Carrera GTS, and a 911 T/R that raced Le Mans in 1969. No price is currently attached to the listing, though the next owner probably isn’t bothered by menial things such as finances. Here’s hoping the buyer continues to give this thing the exercise it deserves.
