TA2 qualifying canceled, Matos awarded Road Atlanta pole

Rain forced cancellation of today’s qualifying session for the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli’s CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series race at the Mission Foods Road Atlanta SpeedTour. So, the field for Saturday’s Bennett/BridgeHaul Classic was set by practice times. Rafa Matos in the No. 60 Concord American Flagpole/Nitro Motorsports Ford Mustang will lead the field to green after setting a fast time of 1m22.222s in this morning’s practice session. His Nitro Motorsports teammate Thomas Annunziata will line up beside Matos on the front row.
