After last night’s running of the ARCA Hard Rock Bet 200, major teammate issues were exposed in the Venturini Motorsports camp.

On the third lap of the 200, Gus Dean got loose after a push from Leland Honeyman and thought he was clear down the track. One of his four Venturini teammates, Toni Breidinger, was in the spot directly below him.

Dean collided with Breidinger resulting in her No. 25 Toyota Camry turning in front of the field collecting Kris Wright and Amber Balcaen, two fellow Venturini Motorsports drivers.

Wright and Breidinger’s nights would be done due to this collision and Briedinger did not mince words when talking about Dean’s mistake.

“I’m trying to be nice since the No. 55 is my teammate, but it’s disappointing.” Breidinger said in the video above, once she cleared the infield care center, “It’s so early on in the race, an unnecessary move. Even later in the race, it would’ve been a bad move, I mean you’re not clear. It’s unfortunate, he has a lack of respect for his teammates and other people on the track who work really hard to get here when his dad is just writing the check. I think that has to do with his lack of respect.”

Dean is a third-generation racer, who lost his grandfather - who ignited his love for motorsports, a few weeks back. Dean's first win since his grandfather's passing came in a Super Late Model during the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway last Sunday.

Breidinger doubled down on her comments to Toby Christie of FrontStretch.com when talking about the difference between her experience in the Truck Series race run just before the ARCA 200. Breidinger finished 27th in his first NASCAR Truck race.

“The truck race was chaotic,” Breidinger said. “There were a lot of moving parts, a lot of moves being made. But nothing like that, especially earlier on in the race. Everyone was a lot smarter in that race, it’s probably why Gus wasn’t in that race.”
