The new 2025 Audi Q6 and SQ6 e-tron represent the German brand's third lineup of electric SUVs and will go on sale later this year in the hotly contested compact luxury SUV space.
The Q6 and SQ6 e-tron are the first Audi models built on the Volkswagen Group's Premium Platform Electric (PPE) platform and feature an 800-volt electrical architecture.
Slotting between Audi's current Q4 and Q8 e-tron models, the Q6 e-tron is comparable in size to the brand's bestselling Q5 SUV.
The new Q6 and SQ6 also are the first EVs to be produced at Audi's plant in Ingolstadt, Germany.
A longer 114.1-inch wheelbase compared to the Q5 lend the Q6 e-tron a relatively spacious cabin with good rear legroom.
The Q6 and SQ6 will launch with dual motors and all-wheel drive, with outputs up to 456 and 510 horsepower, respectively.
Both the Q6 and SQ6 e-tron will feature a 94.4-kWh battery, though a rear-drive model with a smaller battery may be added to the lineup later on.
Capable of charging at up 270 kW, the Q6 and SQ6 should be able to recharge from 10 to 80 percent in around 21 minutes, according to Audi.
EPA range estimates are not yet available, but Audi expects the Q6 e-tron to be good for at least 300 miles of range.
Audi says the Q6 should be able to hit 60 mph in about five seconds, while the SQ6 should do the deed in 4.2 seconds.

The Q6 e-tron will debut Audi's new cockpit layout featuring an Android-based operating system and a trio of displays across the dash.
A new head-up display with augmented reality navigation also will be available.
