The 1940s was an exciting time in automotive history. In many ways it was the beginning of the modern automobile but it was also a time of great uncertainty.

Ford’s early 1940s models were a huge step forward in automotive design. They were better built than ever before and featured more complete and integrated body work. However, in 1942 production was halted due to WWII and production would not pick back up again until after Japan’s official surrender. Not only by getting to enjoy this part of American automotive history but also in the value that it brings to a collection.
