When Josh Gold first laid eyes on this 1972 AMC Javelin SST, he was just a kid. His friend's mom owned it, and drove it everywhere. After spending his childhood riding around in the back seat to baseball games and movie theaters, he became obsessed with owning it himself.
When the time finally came for his friend's mom to sell it, Gold jumped on the opportunity. The Javelin wasn't running at the time, and needed a fair amount of work to get it back into shape. After a year-long restoration, Gold got it back on the road, and now uses it as his daily driver in Los Angeles.
