What is a station wagon? As recently as the 1980s, vehicle manufacturers often referred to passenger vans and burly trucks as station wagons, and that's just what the International Harvester Corporation did with its Travelall (which would be considered an SUV by 21st century standards, albeit a very primitive and rough-riding one).
