Ford's final send-off for the long-running SN-95 Mustang, the 2004 SVT Cobra, was a hell of a thing. It offered an incredible 390 hp when the base GT could only muster 260, and chassis modifications including independent rear suspension made it a good handler too. And 14 years after it left production, it still holds up.

Or at least, this well-modified 2004 SVT Cobra driven by The Smoking Tire's Zack Klapman hold up in 2018. With some basic bolt-on engine mods, this Cobra now makes 475 horsepower and 492 lb-ft of torque, and sounds amazing doing so. The owner stripped out about 250 lbs of weight too, helping make the most of that engine.

Klapman finds that the car has a ton of grip and speed through LA's canyon roads, though the steering feel leaves a bit to be desired. But who cares about handling when you have that amazing V8? It's one of Ford's very best, capable of munching rear tires all the way through second gear.
