2015 Chrysler 200 Debuts the "New Face of Chrysler"

Serving as a building block for a future filled with competitive products sold on their merits rather than legacy, the redesigned 2015 Chrysler 200 Sedan should prove to be an appealing alternative to the front-runners in the midsize family sedan class.

One important aspect of the redesigned Chrysler 200 is that it charts a new course for the styling of the next-generation 300 and Town & Country models. Al Gardner, President and CEO--Chrysler Brand, Chrysler LLC, told the media that the new 200 "...lays the groundwork for the future of the Chrysler brand...," citing elegant design and clever functionality combined with safety and infotainment technologies.

By Chrysler's numbers, the midsize sedan segment of the car market accounts for nearly 17% of all sales. The 2015 Chrysler 200 Sedan arrives with a choice between a 4-cylinder and a V-6 engine, front-wheel or all-wheel drive, and four trim levels ranging from the value-oriented LX and popular Limited to the sporty 200S and the luxurious 200C. The new 200 is based on an Alfa Romeo chassis, aims to deliver European handling and responsiveness combined with American ride quality, and comes standard with a new 9-speed automatic transmission that helps the car get as much as 35 mpg on the highway by Chrysler's estimate.
