Back in the 1960s, Ford and Shelby came together to create what is now one of the most iconic classic muscle cars ever, the Shelby GT350. It's been half a century since the original car debuted, and now a new one is here. This video puts the two cars together to see just how different they really are.
The folks at Gears and Gasoline were able to find owners of an original 1965 Shelby GT350 and a brand new 2017 model, and bring them together to see what over 50 years of technological advancement has done to the Shelby name.
The owners, Sam and Bob, were able to swap driver's seats for a day and feel out each other's special machines. Besides the obvious new versus old differences, the two cars share a lot in common - especially that lovely exhaust soundtrack.
