Next month’s Goodwood Revival, an annual classic-car event spanning three days that serves as a follow-up to the Festival of Speed, will play host to more than $600 million in classic cars this year-with a group worth $250 million participating in the Kinrara Trophy race on the Goodwood Motor Circuit.

Of the 15 races scheduled for the Goodwood Revival weekend, the Kinrara Trophy should be the most exciting. It could be the most valuable race ever held, according to the Goodwood people. On Friday evening, September 7, 30 cars will race for 60 minutes around the 2.4-mile track, starting at sunset and finishing at dusk. The race is restricted to closed-roof GT cars, all pre-1963, with engines of 3.0 liters or larger. Ten of the 30 entrants alone are Ferrari 250GT SWBs, which the collector-car insurer Hagerty values at an estimated $10 million each.

In addition to those 250GTs (one of which is the legendary Breadvan), there will be a 250GTO and an extremely rare 330GTO. That’s another $80 million in value-at least. Racing alongside the Ferraris will be a handful of Jaguar E-types, four Aston Martin DB4 GTs, two AC Cobras, and a Maserati 3500GT. And it’s not leisurely racing, either-check out the gallery for photos from past Revivals, and watch the video below for the entire 2016 Kinrara Trophy (the first year the race was held).

The Duke of Richmond, owner of the Goodwood estate, summed up why this year’s event will be so spectacular: “Most would expect to find cars of this value locked away in a garage or a museum. But at the Revival you will find them racing into the dusk, headlights blazing and brake discs glowing, as they roar around one of the fastest and most demanding circuits in England. It truly is one of the greatest spectacles in motor racing.”
