2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Infotainment
Jeep’s excellent infotainment system is among our favorites for its ease of use and snappy performance. Available rear-seat entertainment and in-car Wi-Fi make the Grand Cherokee a movie theater on wheels.
What’s New for 2018?
Jeep has taken a great infotainment system and made it even better for 2018. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard across the Grand Cherokee lineup, and all models benefit from updated displays with a higher resolution. The optional onboard Wi-Fi is now powered by a faster, 4G LTE data connection.

Infotainment Performance
In addition to Uconnect’s intuitive interface, it’s one of the most reactive systems we’ve tested, regularly turning in response times that beat smartphones from Apple and Samsung. In the Grand Cherokee, we recorded an average response time of less than a half-second, which easily earns it a rating of Good.
