Yahoo Autos 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Slides in Snow
Watching cars, especially purpose-built track cars, get pushed beyond their preconceived boundaries is addicting. That's why we're so happy this 16-minute-long video of the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS drifting around a snow-packed course exists.
This video, uploaded to the GTBOARD.com YouTube channel Monday, shows the freshly-redesigned, 520-horsepower GT3 RS bouncing revs and getting sideways on snow. There's no vlogging car reviewer making hyperbolic statements or any ear-numbing EDM playing in the background. It's just the sound of snow kicking around and Porsche's retuned 4.0-liter flat-six engine. It's a pretty soothing soundtrack.

Based on our time with the new GT3 RS at its launch, it's safe to assume that this car, unlike the one initially showed to journalists, was equipped with studded snow tires - an option not actually available directly from Porsche. From what we can tell, it also looks like Rohl is the one practicing his car control skills in the YouTube video above.
Not like he needs any more training.
