  • Genesis has released a few more U.S. details on its new GV80 luxury SUV.

  • A turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four is the base engine, and a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 is the upgrade and makes 375 horsepower.

  • We expect pricing to start at around $50,000 and top out around $65,000.

Genesis revealed the GV80 for the second time in Miami—two weeks after its Korean unveil and our first drive—as the city preps like mad to host the big game. There’s still no official word on price, but we have it on good word the GV80 will start at $50,000 for the rear-wheel drive inline-four and crest $65,000 fully-loaded for the all-wheel drive V-6.

That will make it somewhat cheaper than competitors such as the Mercedes-Benz GLE-class, which starts in the mid-$50,000 range for a four-cylinder model and can reach well into the $80,000 range for a fully equipped six-cylinder model.
