2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Celebrates Disney’s Centennial

Joining the ranks of some of the stranger brand collaborations, Hyundai is working with Disney to help the animation legend celebrate its centennial with a special-edition Ioniq 5.

Officially named the 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Disney100 Platinum Edition, it’s hard to miss the collaborative effort of the two brands. This limited-edition Ioniq 5 will only exist in 1000 examples.

If you’re wondering what this limited-production Ioniq 5 nets you, it’s not exactly a lot. These Ioniq 5 models are finished in gravity gold matte paint and feature Disney-inspired wheels and special Disney badging.

You’ll also find Disney100 logos embossed on the headrests and on this Ioniq 5’s floor mats. You’ll also get a special start-up screen, which could make this more than enough for some of Disney’s mega fans.

Hyundai hasn’t revealed exactly how much this Disney edition will tack onto the Ioniq 5’s price, or which variant of the Ioniq 5 this package will grace. Those details will be revealed before the ’24 Ioniq 5 goes on sale early next year.

If you’re one of the lucky 1000 future Disney100 Platinum edition owners, your special edition might go down in history as one of the stranger brand collaborations. This joins the ranks of the Levi-edition AMC Gremlin or the Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 special edition. While a little odd, these special editions will always make for interesting conversation starters decades down the line.
