  • Mazda confirmed to C/D that it adjusted prices for the 2024 CX-90 three-row SUV.

  • Prices for the nonhybrid models are down by between $1750–$4050, while the CX-90 Hybrid is up by between $500–$2500 depending on trim.

  • The CX-90 costs the same as its two-row sibling, the CX-70, which is scheduled to go on sale soon.

Yesterday, we reported that the new 2025 Mazda CX-70 costs the same as its CX-90 sibling. As it turns out, that's the result of a pricing adjustment that Mazda made to the larger three-row SUV to match its new two-row companion. Several of the 2024 CX-90's trim levels are now $3000–$4000 cheaper than before, although the plug-in-hybrid model is up by between $500–$2500 depending on trim level.

The biggest drop is for the highest trim powered by the 280-hp version of the turbocharged 3.3-liter inline-six engine, the Turbo Premium Plus, which drops by $4050 and now costs $50,275. The top Turbo S models in the lineup, which are powered by the 340-hp version of this engine, also drop by $4000: the Turbo S Premium, now $53,825, and the Turbo S Premium Plus, now $57,325. The base Turbo Select model is down by $1750, now dropping the base price under $40,000 (it's $39,220, to be specific). Other models are $1900–$3000 less than before.

The 323-hp plug-in-hybrid version features a less attractive pricing adjustment, as its starting costs go up compared with before. The base PHEV Preferred is $2500 more than before and now starts at $51,320, while the better-equipped PHEV Premium is up by $1500 to $55,775 and the top PHEV Premium Plus rises $500, to $58,825.
