So you're in the market for a cheap used luxury car. Sure, you're probably looking at a nice, certified pre-owned BMW or Audi, but why not give this sweet Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG a look? At just $11,900, it might just be the car for you.
That is, of course, until you realize, this particular E55 has no less than 401,856 miles on the odometer. No, that's not a typo. In just 13 years, the first and only owner was able to rack on over 31,000 miles a year. That's 87 miles a day.
Taking a look at the CarFax just raises more questions. According to the lengthy report, the California car has been involved in two accidents in its lifetime, one of which was severe enough to deploy the airbags.
Nonetheless, the car looks impeccably clean and well-kept on the outside. Interestingly, there's no pictures of the (likely worn) interior, or of that 469-horsepower, 5.5-liter supercharged V8.
Suspicious? Maybe. But why not roll the dice and find out?
