Ford is preparing to unveil the all-electric Mustang-inspired crossover, and now it is showing us something quite similar ahead of the November 17 release. The Mustang Lithium is powered by an 800-volt Webasto battery and a Phi-Power dual-core electric motor with dual power inverters. Ford claims that it produces more than 900 horsepower and more than 1000 lb-ft of torque. It also utilizes a Getrag six-speed manual transmission to send the massive amounts of power to the wheels.

Ford's Performance track handling pack is installed with a strut tower brace and Brembo six-piston front brakes straight from the GT350R. It looks similar to a standard Mustang GT with Ford's performance pack level 2 upgrade, though the Mustang Lithium sports custom carbon fiber side splitters and rear diffuser with a Webasto hood and see-through polycarbonate windows. In addition to the body upgrades, this electric 'stang has a 1-inch lowered stance and 20-inch staggered width wheels.

The inside looks just like the production Mustang, but this all-electric version is flooded with light-blue accents, and it features a 10.4-inch touchscreen. The touchscreen in this one-off electric muscle car could be foreshadowing the screen we could see in the upcoming all-electric crossover. Four driving modes including valet, sport, track, and beats are interchangeable via the touchscreen.

Ford is clearly very invested in their electric future as they have already invested around $11.5 billion in these efforts. Along with the Mach E, the company plans to release an all-electric F-150 pickup in the coming years. We'll have all electric Ford news for you when we have it including the all-electric Mustang-inspired crossover, which debuts on November 17 ahead of the L.A. auto show.
