Despite first appearing in 2007, the Nissan GT-R is still one of the quickest cars you can buy. Thanks to continual updates, the 2016 GT-R's twin-turbo V6 made 545 horsepower. Thanks to its advanced all-wheel-drive system, it could hit 60 mph in the low-three-second range.

In some key aspects, the Acura NSX (our 2017 Performance Car of the Year) is pretty similar. Yes, it has 573 horsepower and is a hybrid. But both cars weigh about 3800 lbs., offer all-wheel-drive, and have similar acceleration figures. Heck, they even both have twin-turbo V6 engines.

The question is, though, which one is quicker in a straight line? In their latest video, the guys from The Exotic Revolution took both cars out to a flat, completely empty stretch of road to find out. They marked off a quarter mile, lined the cars up, and let them loose.

To complicate things, though, this drag race was shot at just over 5000 feet of elevation. So while the NSX is a few pounds lighter and has a bit of a horsepower advantage, the thinner air can make the results a lot more difficult to predict. Just ask the Aventador driver that lost a similar drag race earlier this year.
