Alfa Romeo Museum Represents a Timeline of Legendary Italian Automobiles
The Alfa Romeo Historical Museum in Milan, where it is known to the locals as Museo Storico Alfa Romeo, was founded in 1976 and reopened in 2015 after a three-year move to a grand new location adjacent to the former Alfa Romeo factories. The six-story museum has 69 historically significant models, from the first A.L.F.A. car in 1910 and the Mille Miglia to sleek production sports cars, lovely luxury cruisers, and the Alfetta 159 driven by F1 champion Juan Manuel Fangio in 1951.
The museum represents a timeline of legendary Italian automobiles and is handsomely designed and beautifully decorated. The cars are the obvious stars and are prominently displayed with the right amount of space in between vehicles, as a proper tribute. Journalists were granted an extensive tour of the museum, including two floors closed to the public where one-off concepts, race cars, models, trophies, and even a tractor are stored.
