Alfa Romeo's Upcoming Stelvio SUV Spied In Official FCA Promo Video

From Road & Track

Considering its Nurburgring-melting lap times, we're looking forward to the Alfa Romeo Giulia finally arriving Stateside. The real volume seller in Alfa's lineup, however, is likely to actually be the Giulia-based crossover rumored to be called the Stelvio. And while it will likely be officially revealed later this year, we got a great look at it from the unlikeliest of sources-an official FCA promo video.

Motorionline was the first to spot the SUV we assume is the Stelvio, prompting FCA to replace it with a version that doesn't show the partially disguised SUV. Thankfully, Carscoops preserved the original for us on Facebook.

Considering it's based on the Giulia, it shouldn't be much of a surprise that the Stelvio looks a lot like you'd imagine a high-riding Giulia hatchback would look. And while it will likely share engines, transmissions with the Giulia, the biggest question we have is whether or not there will be a 500-horsepower Quadrifoglio version.

Look for the Stelvio to be officially revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November of this year.
