What's the Best New Convertible for Under $50,000?

Spring is here, which means summer is just around the corner. With nice weather come convertibles and top-down fun. Fortunately, today's new car market offers a bunch of different convertibles that you don't have to break the bank to own. Which is your favorite?

I hate to be cliché, but for under $50,000, I'd spend my money on a Mazda MX-5 Miata. Sure, there are more powerful convertibles in the segment, but the combination of balance, great controls, and sublime feedback you get from behind the wheel of a Miata is something rarely found in cars four times the price. The only real question is, buy one now, or wait until the new, more powerful refreshed model comes out?
