Over the years, there have been a myriad of fantastic cars that send their power to the front wheels. They may not be the low-slung supercars of your dream garage, but they're still fantastic to drive .
My personal favorite front-wheel drive car is the Peugeot 205 GTi. It's a tiny French hatchback with a simple, timeless design, combined with some fantastic suspension tuning, an adequate four-cylinder engine, and a good old fashioned five speed manual transmission. I've never had to pleasure of driving one, but from what I hear, it's a simple car, lightweight and easy to toss around without a care in the world. Sure, it's not the fastest car on the block, but it's certainly got to be one of the most fun.
