The name Stephen Morris might not ring a bell. But if you're a human being, at some point you've heard the New Order song Blue Monday. This British synth-pop anthem from 1983 starts off with semiquaver kick drum intro, during which keyboardist Gillian Gilbert fades in a sequencer melody. Gillian is also known as Mrs. Morris, and Stephen Morris is New Order's drummer/synthesizer guy, who previously played in Joy Division.

Why is that important? Because while Motörhead's Lemmy had a Škoda-built, German Hetzer light tank destroyer, Now Order's Stephen Morris has more. And it all started out with a car, sitting proudly at Bristol's legendary Kensington High Street showroom.

Sadly, Mrs. Morris didn't like the idea of a 1947 Bristol 400 in the family, but surprisingly enough, she did say yes to an FV433 Abbot self-propelled gun. Especially since it only cost them four grand. And so, the madness began.

When Stephen drives his Mark IV Ferret armored reconnaissance vehicle around the neighborhood, the mailman takes a detour to let him pass. It's standard practice for rockstars, really.
