Apple’s Brad Pitt F1 Movie Gets a Release Date

The new Apple Original Films movie centered on Formula 1, and starring Brad Pitt, will be released in June 2025.

The highly-anticipated as-yet-untitled movie, directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, will be distributed in theaters worldwide and in IMAX by Warner Bros. Pictures on June 25, 2025.

It will be released in North America on June 27, 2025.

The feature will star Pitt as a former racer who returns to Formula 1 alongside a rookie teammate, played by Damson Idris, at the fictional APXGP team.

Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem and Tobias Menzies are among the cast.

Production of the movie began in 2023, with the crew embedding itself within the paddock at several Grands Prix. That included being part of the pre-race ceremony and part of the formation lap at last year’s British Grand Prix.

Production will continue at select events through the rest of 2024 before wrapping on-site at the season-ending Abu Dhabi race.

Seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton has been assisting the project.
