Audi May Take Control of Bentley

As of right now, Porsche CEO Oliver Blume oversees Bentley, and the English brand receives platforms and technologies from Porsche. German publication Automobilewoche (via Automotive News) reports that this could soon change, with Bentley falling under Audi's purview within the Volkswagen Group. It's all part of VW Group CEO's Herbert Diess' mandate to simplify the company's portfolio, which is also why the futures of Bugatti, Lamborghini, and Ducati look in doubt. Automobilewoche says that under Audi control, the next generation Continental GT and Flying Spur would likely go all-electric, sharing a platform co-developed with Porsche.
