RIP George Jones, singer of the greatest country song about Corvettes

Country music's best singer died today at the age of 81, and in the next few days the world will give the back catalogue of George Jones' songs the wistful airing it deserves. While you can spend hours on the early songs, and the duets with Tammy Wynette and Melba Montgomery, there's one hit I'd like to note here, from 1982: "The Corvette Song," one of Jones' later chart-toppers. Still hotter than a two-dollar pistol.
