Which BMW M Coupé Is For You?

From Road & Track

Most people talking about how great the E30 M3 is would not daily drive such an old machine. What they desire instead is a brand new M4, that special version of the 3 Series that looks like a million dollars, drives like a sports car, yet offers plenty of comfort as well. It's the two-door asking to be your daily driver if you want something a bit more casual (and significantly cheaper) than a Porsche 911.

For that exact reason, some may consider the current generation to be a bit too heavy and GT-like for their taste. But BMW thought of that.

First, they jammed most of the M4's go fast bits into their smaller car, thus creating the very entertaining and equally quick M2. It's a great car, but for those who wouldn't want to downsize, BMW also beefed up the M4, ending up with the special edition known as the GTS. It features old racing technology such as water injection, and it's a bit hard to justify its price, but if you decide to daily one, we'll salute you.

Personally? M2.
