The Chiron went into production in late 2016, and last year, Bugatti managed to build 70 examples, which is in line with their annual plans. Since its debut we've also learned that these 1500 horsepower luxury rockets are the most well monitored cars on the planet, though we may never see how fast they really are at Ehra Lessien.

Now, Bugatti has completed its 100th Chiron, which means one fifth of the entire production run has already left the “L‘Atelier“ at Bugatti’s headquarters in Molsheim. Interestingly however, job #100 is not a Chiron Sport, Bugatti's handling-focused upgrade introduced for 2018.

Instead, it's a "regular," $3.33 million (without taxes) Chiron with an outer skin consisting entirely of dark blue carbon, supplied with a matte finish for the first time. The paintwork of the Bugatti side line is in Italian red, while the wheels are finished in mink black. Inside, red is the dominant color.

Bugatti chief Stephan Winkelmann likes it:

"I find the 100th Chiron especially pleasing. It is dynamic and elegant in equal measure.”

All is well in the world.
