  • Buick shows the design sketches of the 2025 Enclave ahead of its formal reveal.

  • Like the Envista, Buick will adopt some of the Wildcat concept’s design elements for the ‘25 Enclave.

  • Buick is hoping to continue its upward sales trend from 2023.

Buick is gearing up to launch the third generation of its Enclave full-size SUV. Scheduled to hit the road as a 2025 model, the all-new design comes shortly on the heels of a relatively recent refresh. Details are still light about the ‘25 Enclave but the company has shared a couple of sketches and a teaser image.

What we can glean from the teasers, and from the little information Buick has given with them, is that the ’25 Enclave will lean heavily on elements from Buick’s Wildcat concept. And while it’s not exactly a stylish coupe design, we appreciate seeing elements from that sleek concept machine make their way to production Buick products.

While we don’t know anything about the drivetrain of this Enclave, we can look at a similarly sized Chevrolet for clues. Currently, the Enclave uses a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6 to send 310 hp to the front or all four wheels. With the 2024 Chevrolet Traverse, the 3.6-liter V6 was swapped for a turbocharged 2.5-liter I4. The team at GMC did the same swap with the latest GMC Acadia.

Buick is also hoping to see its recent sales trajectory continue on the up. Buick’s new Envista added roughly 13,000 more Buicks to the roads, and the Enclave cranked its sales up nearly 10,000 examples over 2022 and moved 39,411 examples according to Wards Intelligence sales data.

Buick says that we’re going to see the ‘25 Enclave before the end of this year. Of course, with any next-generation vehicle, you can almost expect a bump in price. That means expect the next Enclave to start close to $50,000.
