From Road & Track

If you're too impatient to wait for the new Wrangler pickup to hit showrooms, then this might be the Jeep for you. It's a 1987 Comanche survivor in great condition, sporting some amazing decals. And it's for sale.

Welcome to You Must Buy, our daily look at the cars you really should be buying instead of that boring commuter sedan.

This 1987 Comanche is a 4.0-liter straight-six 4x4 model equipped with an automatic transmission. In addition to the factory roll-bar, power steering, power brakes, working air-conditioning, Alpine head unit, and new 30-inch BF Goodrich off-road tires, the truck comes with a pair of very '80s "4x4" yellow, orange, and red stripe decals on either side of the body and on the hood.

According to the ad on eBay Motors, this Comanche has driven substantial 252,299 miles-but you wouldn't believe it from the pictures. The body and paint seem in good condition save for a few blemishes, and the interior looks like it hasn't seen nearly as many miles as it has. The only part of the truck with considerable wear is the bed.

There isn't a Buy-It-Now price listed on the eBay auction listing, and the current bid sits at $2827 with reserve not met. It's located in Oregon, so if you're in the area I'd say its definitely worth a look. Better hurry though, there's only four days remaining until the auction ends.
