Vintage Nissan Skylines aren't getting any cheaper, so why not pick up this pristine example before prices really get out of hand? It's a 1972 Skyline 2000 GT that's been modified over the years and recently listed on Bring a Trailer. It seems like it's just begging to be driven.

Welcome to You Must Buy, our daily look at the cars you really should be buying instead of that boring commuter sedan.

This car was recently imported to the US after being purchased from a long-time Japanese collector, and sports some GT-R styling modifications, front and rear spoilers, bolt-on fender flares, RS Watanabe alloy wheels, and coilovers. A 2.0-liter L20 straight-six with triple Mikuni carburetors hides under the hood, sending power to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

The car recently underwent an exterior repaint in silver, and currently reads just 69,500 km (around 43,000 miles) on the odometer. Considering the aftermarket modifications and repaint, this car probably won't go for as much money as a totally original example. But originality doesn't always equal a better driving experience, which is why we think this car is a good buy. It has the right equipment and some seriously cool looks.
