A valet driver in Atlanta was fired from their position after going on a joyride and wrecking a Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing while the owner was enjoying a meal at a restaurant, 11Alive reports.

Video from the Cadillac's built-in Performance Data Recorder shows the moment the valet attempts to make a U-turn in West Midtown, a neighborhood in Atlanta, and gets T-boned by an oncoming car. Video of the aftermath shows extensive damage to the rear section of the vehicle.

"The side airbags deployed on both side, and then the driver's side seat airbag deployed also," Joe Luck, the car's owner, told 11Alive. "The rear quarter panel's destroyed, the rear driver's axles off the car."

National Parking, the valet company involved in the incident, told 11Alive it fired the driver in question. According to Luck, the company has yet to present any solutions as to who will pay for the damages. As enthusiasts, this is pretty much our worst nightmare, so we hope he gets made whole.

"I know I’ll never valet a vehicle ever again," Luck told 11Alive. "I’ll figure out something, even if I have to pay extra to park my own vehicle. I won’t trust them with the keys to my car ever again."
