Kosilla breaks down these detailing essentials into three groups - one-time purchases, consumable tools, and car-cleaning products. The one-time purchases consist of a vacuum, buckets, grit guards, a hose and nozzle, a lug nut brush, a wheel woolie, a scrub pad, and an interior brush. Consumables consist of rubber gloves, eye protection, and various types of towels. These are all tools you'll keep for a while, but will eventually need to throw out.
