Yahoo Autos Which Car Did You Never Expect a Company to Build?
When you think of a certain car company, you pretty much know what types of cars it sells. But every so often, a manufacturer breaks the mold, and comes out with something completely unexpected. Which cars did you never expect its manufacturer to build?
Personally, I think the BMW i8 was a bit of a surprise. It was BMW's first mid-engine car since the legendary M1, paired with a futuristic hybrid drive system and a set of stylish swing-up doors. The craziest part is, they barely the car from concept to production. Nowadays, I see them on the streets all the time. It doesn't get any less interesting to look through those wacky air channels time and time again.
