Practicality is one of the few areas where the Journey shines: its interior is easily configurable and it has tons of cubby storage for odds and ends, even if its total cargo capacity isn't as large as some competitors.

What’s New for 2019?

The Journey has the same cargo space and interior cubby storage as it did in 2018. While it has the highest lift-over height and second-smallest carry-on capacity among these rivals, the Journey's cabin has several large compartments and bins that give it an advantage.

The cargo champ in this group is the Ford Edge, which holds a maximum of 29 of our carry-on-sized boxes.
