Impressive cargo capacity-despite its cargo-bay measurements-makes the RX a handy tool for weekend errands. For day-to-day storage of small items, the cabin and cargo areas provide adequate space.

What’s New for 2018?

Regular-length RX models are unchanged for 2018, and so are their cargo-area dimensions and small-item storage cubbies. The 4.4-inch-longer RX L models provide more cargo space by volume; however, in our carry-on-suitcase testing, the RX350L accommodated 22 of our suitcases versus the regular RX350’s 24. With the third row in place, you’ll need to ask passengers to pack light, as only three carry-ons fit behind the tiny jump seats when they’re in use.
