Chevrolet’s supercar has returned. After a five year hiatus, the Corvette ZR1 made its debut for the C8 generation, and it’s the most powerful Corvette ever made thanks to a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 putting out 1,064 horsepower.

While the looks of it might not be for everyone, you can at least appreciate that something like this even exists. Here’s the 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 from every angle.

Coupe Or Convertible

Like with the C7, Chevy isn’t limiting the ZR1 to just one body style. Buyers will be able to choose between coupe and convertible models, both of which come with carbon-fiber roofs for weight savings.

Return Of The Split Rear Window

The ZR1 sees the return of a historic Corvette design piece: A split rear window. Available on the ZR1 coupe, it’s a feature not seen since the C2. It’s not all for looks, either, as Chevy says it’s designed for optimal heat extraction.

The Most Downforce Ever

The ZR1 has an extensive aero setup, with an optional ZTK package that dials things up even more. With features like a massive rear wing and front dive planes, the result is the most downforce ever generated on a Corvette. At 215 mph, there’s 1,200 pounds of downforce being generated.

A Number Of Unique Color Options

Chevy says buyers will be able to customize their ZR1 with a number of unique exterior and interior colors. With hues like Competition Yellow, Hysteria Purple and Sebring Yellow, it’s great to see Chevy giving buyers choices other than black, silver and white.

Massive Cooling

Big power requires big cooling. The ZR1's huge side ducts look large enough for someone to stick their head in.

A Powerful Work Of Art

Two turbochargers. Flat-plane crank. 5.5 liters. 1,064 horsepower and 828 pound-feet of torque. Need I say more?

Dual Action Hood

As part of the cooling and aero package the ZR1 is equipped with, this dual action hood lets air flow through it for cooling and generates downforce.

Staggered Wheels For Road And Track Duty

The ZR1 comes with 20-inch front wheels and 21-inch rear wheels wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, which Chevy says provide a balance of on road comfort and track capability. Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires are optional.

Unique Interior

The ZR1's interior sets itself apart from other C8s with small unique details. Aside from ZR1 badging and an interior plaque, there’s special stitching on the doors and a boost gauge for the turbos.

New Interior Colors
