An all-electric replacement for Chrysler's 300 sedan was shown to dealers during a private company event in Las Vegas in late March, Mopar Insiders reports.

Citing several unnamed dealer sources, Mopar Insiders claims the upcoming electric Chrysler sedan resembles the model shown during Stellantis' 2021 EV Day presentation, which used outlines of a fastback sedan with a floor-mounted battery (shown below). Attendees of the event also said the car shares a similar size and general shape as the Dodge Charger Daytona EV, revealed back in August.

It's unclear at this time whether this new 300 replacement will share its underpinnings with the new Charger, but it could make sense; The current 300 shares its chassis with the current Charger. Developing an entirely new car just for the Chrysler brand would be a bold move for Stellantis, whereas the platform sharing ensures the automotive giant can amortize costs over multiple models.

Chrysler's first EV, the Airflow crossover, is rumored to enter production in 2024. If this 300 replacement is real, expect it to arrive shortly after.
