Yahoo Autos The Civic Type-R Will Reportedly Cost $33,900
After what seems like forever, the United States market will finally be getting the Honda Civic Type-R. With a 306-horsepower turbocharged engine, a slick hatchback body style and that signature rear wing, the new Type-R is set to be one of the best Hondas yet. And now, it seems we finally know exactly how much Honda's hottest hatch will cost.
Earlier today, the folks over at CivicX.com published a photo of what looks to be a window sticker for a US-market Civic Type-R. The sticker reveals the car's base price - $33,900 before destination - near the top right of the photo.
Along with the sticker photo, CivicX.com also included several pictures of new Type-Rs sitting in a parking lot with delivery paint protection covers, leading us to believe this is the real deal.
The $33,900 price would put the Type-R up against cars like the Subaru WRX STi and Volkswagen Golf R while slotting it below the more expensive Ford Focus RS.
Although Honda hasn't officially released pricing on the Type-R, this new info looks pretty convincing. We can't wait to get our hands on one.
