Detroit City Distillery has added a bonus to Friday’s launch of its Paczki Day Vodka. New this year is the distillery’s Hometown Horseradish vodka. This limited-edition vodka is distilled with fresh horseradish and is ideal for making, what else, but a classic bloody mary. The vodka pairs raw horseradish with 100% Michigan corn vodka.

“Every year when we release Paczki Day Vodka, we try to create an amazing experience for our fans and reward them with something new," Michael Forsyth, co-owner of Detroit City Distillery (DCD), said in a statement. “This year’s big surprise is Hometown Horseradish Vodka.”

While the horseradish vodka has a “solid kick,” Forsyth said, it’s also one of the smoothest the company has ever made.
