Dodge Challenger Wraps Cost $3700 and Feature a Rainbow of Colors
Dodge and CG Detroit are selling a limited-run multicolor wrap for 2008 and newer Challengers.
The design is a nod to Dodge's former corporate cousin's Plymouth "Paint Chip" 'Cuda, a car illustrated for a Plymouth brochure decades ago that was later brought to life by the Wellborn Musclecar Museum.
The wrap includes 14 different colors offered on the 2023 Challenger.
Choosing a specific 2023 Dodge Challenger trim is hard enough on its own. Do you go with the 303-hp 3.6-liter V-6 in the SXT or GT, or do you spring for the nearly 400-hp 5.7-liter V-8 in the R/T?
Maybe you get a bit crazy and snag a Challenger R/T Scat Pack with the 485-hp 6.4-liter V-8, or get even a bit wilder and grab one of the SRT-tuned Hellcat models, which make as little as 717 horsepower and as much as 807 hp in Super Stock and Redeye Jailbreak trim—10 more than the run-of-the-mill Hellcat Redeye.
And we haven’t even gotten into drivetrain and transmission options yet, where Dodge offers V-6 buyers the option to push power to all four wheels and gives V-8 R/T, Scat Pack, and entry-level 717-hp SRT Hellcat shoppers the choice of either an eight-speed automatic or six-speed manual gearbox. If only there were a way to combine all of these options into one Challenger . . .
Well, there isn’t. It’s up to you to make these trim and powertrain decisions on your own.
