Yahoo Autos Drifting Budget Hatchbacks in the Rain Looks Like a Hoot
High-budget drift videos like Ken Block's Gymkhana series are impressive, but they're also not something your regular enthusiast will ever be able to replicate. After all, even if you could find an abandoned industrial park, you'd still have to come up with a rallycross car. And film helicopters.
But just because you can't be Ken Block doesn't mean you can't have some budget fun. We've seen a few Gymkhana parodies recently, but this video doesn't even try to do that. It's just two guys, two extremely cheap cars, and some GoPros to capture their drifty shenanigans.
Unsurprisingly, it looks like they're having a blast abusing the handbrakes on their Fiat Uno and Suzuki Swift. Since both cars already look pretty beat, it's no big deal if they bang into anything. And of course they hit each other. That's half the fun.
