Hi there. What's up? Nothing? Cool. As a person who's reading this post, it seems you're either a person who clicks on anything that says "Nurburgring," likes learning, or has driven the Nurburgring and has royally screwed it up.

Well, if you're any of those people, welcome, and get ready to learn about the Karussell.

The Karusell is easily the most recognizable corner at the Nurburgring. It's a 180 degree baked left hander with concrete patches all along the center. It's a challenge to get right, even in a video game. So how do you master it?

There are two keys to this corner. First, it's a late turn in. Stay to the right till later than you think you need to and then drop into the bowl at about the third concrete marker. Second, keep your eyes up. It's actually a corner that's earlier similar to the banking at Daytona, even though the tracks aren't similar at all. You need to be focused as far ahead as you can, which means looking through the top left corner of your windshield to see it.
